Orthopedic massage provides a clear path through pain management and injury rehabilitation. The pathway consists of assessment, matching treatment to injury, adaptability and rehabilitation protocol. I use soft tissue manipulation including deep tissue massage, craniosacral techniques, and medical intuition.
Reiki is a Japanese form of healing based on the concept that an unseen life force energy flows through you. Being in a human body results in imbalances that cause blockages, disruption, or depletion of our life force on mental, emotional, and/or physical levels. We experience these imbalances as pain, depression, anxiety, loneliness, and/or illness. The body and mind naturally seek to be in balance and Reiki provides the means to promote relaxation as well as deep healing.
Zen Shiatsu is Japanese therapeutic bodywork based on traditional Chinese medicine, acupuncture meridians, and Western psychology. Pressure to the body is applied using fingers, thumbs, and/or palms in a continuous rhythmic sequence which deeply relaxes, relieves tension, and supports the body while re-establishing the body/mind connection.
Medicinal herbs help relieve symptoms while healing the underlying causes of health conditions. Think of an herb as a living medicine which has numerous healing qualities. An herb's healing qualities are matched to the whole client, not solely to the health condition. The whole person includes their mental, emotional, and physical beings as well as lifestyle. Any one of these aspects, or a combination of them, can become a stressor causing a health condition. Once the condition has been identified in terms of the whole person, medicinal herbs help restore balance and health on numerous levels.

"I highly value Christopher's knowledgeable application of a variety of skills and the sensitivity and intuitiveness with which he works with me and my body. We have been working together for four years. I was diagnosed with Primary Progressive MS in 2002, having had neurological symptoms for about 4 years before that. I have tried many alternative forms of health care for years. When I began working with Christopher, I found that I could discontinue a couple of the services I was getting as his combination of skills combined to give my body most of what it needed. His work is thorough and engaging. After checking in with me, he determines which modalities he will apply and I am always amazed at how accurate he is in providing just what my body needs. I depend on Christopher to keep my body working at its best. He has also provided valuable guidance on daily body mechanics which have helped reduce my pain. When we talk over various issues, he is also providing nurturing for my soul and heart. I consider him an important member of my health care team. I am so grateful for his excellent work and am blessed to have found him! He has made a very positive impact on my health." Sue M., Oregon
"Christopher's work continues to amaze me and surprise me with each visit. I come in with age old issues that I have just lived with and he gradually relieves pressure and increases mobility with each session. Also as I incur new areas of stress and damage from everyday activity I have had great success with him rebalancing me and giving me full movement in locked up joints and sore muscles. Some days I walk away a little sore, but the pain relief and ability to move makes me extremely revitalized and energetic. Thank you, Christopher, for all your hard work." Felicia E., Oregon
